It is a performance art form south India ,The content of the performance episodes from puranas Ramayana and Mahabarata story. Presenting the story mixed with curent socio political events as a comedy.It is presenting single performer.Make up done by using rice powder,turmeric powder,black powder,sindhuram.The artist wear the artificial ornaments head,hands and belt.The performer named as chakyar and koothu is a performance expressions form the face.Only the member of the chakyar community family performing this art.Hence the performen art called Chakyar KoothuIn this performance using one musical instrument it called Mizhavu
