Kutiyattam or Koodiyattam

                        Kutiyattam is a dance performed by the chakyar family. Koodiyattam or Kutiyattam is  kerala's masterpiece performance art and practised in hindu temples in kerala. It is an oldest traditional  theatre art for more than two thousand years. In 2001 Kutiyattam was officially recognised by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity. This art performance take several days or even weeks to complete.
